Our Priorities

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and drugs around the Longbridge retail and South & City College area. Concerns highlighted to local officers and from call data received to WMP with incidents to this locality.

Reports of Anti-social behaviour across the Longbridge, Frankley and Rubery area. Large groups causing ASB and damage.

What’s Been Happening?

We have been on our high visibility patrols around Longbridge Retail Park, and Arden Road shops engaging with stores, staff and shoppers.

Our School Patrols have been conducted this week along and around the boundaries of Colmers Secondary & Primary, Balaam Wood & Reaside Academy.

We held our PCSO Meets the Community street meeting outside the Arden Road Shops to engage with local residents.

We have responded to reports of abandoned cars and have seized two this week, both for expired tax. This ensures road users are safe, and also prevents the cars from becoming sites of anti-social behaviour.

Good News- 2 Arrests

Longbridge Neighbourhood Officers arrested a male this week on Longbridge Retail Park who was wanted for outstanding burglary offences. The male was taken to custody.

PCSO's were on patrol on Longbridge Retail Park and assisted response officers by coordinating with security team, in following and tracking down a male for shop theft within the Sainsbury's store- The male was then arrested and taken into custody.
